The past few months have been a bit of a whirlwind here at MLP. In the twelve weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, we’ve had the pleasure of photographing six weddings and fourteen engagement sessions! Wow… So to say we have been busy may be understatement. As the photo sessions slow down for the winter season, we are still busy at work sharing the last few sessions and weddings of the 2017 season.
Although there is an abundance of cold temperatures and snow on the ground, I am excited to finally have the opportunity to share Jamie and Bryant’s fall engagement photos. The fall colors were at their absolute peak at South Pond in Chicago as these two were so excited for this session.
Jamie and Bryant’s first “unofficial” date started with Jamie’s search for tacos. It was a Sunday morning – and like any lover of Mexican food, Jamie was on a mission to find a taqueira. After dragging Bryant to more than three restaurants, all of which were closed, they finally found a spot open for business. Much to Bryant’s surprise after all the searching, Jamie ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. They had a good laugh and great conversation. Jamie then realized that Bryant must have liked her pretty much to put up with this odd Sunday morning mission.
Jamie and Bryant are tying the knot in one of our favorite venues next fall. We are very honored and excited to capture more of their fun, sweet, and energetic personalities on their wedding day.
