I knew Lauren and Rory were a fun couple the moment we met up for their engagement session this past Fall. When I arrived at their wedding venue and saw the table names included “Deadpool”, “Tenderheart”, “Dumbledore”, etc.… my thoughts were confirmed. Personally, I would have loved to sit at table “Jack Sparrow”. This wedding was fun from start to finish. When I arrived at Lauren’s parents home, she was a cool calm collected bride enjoying time with her close friends while the hair and makeup team finished their final touches. Lauren chose to wear an adorable knee length dress which perfectly complimented her vivacious personality. When Rory saw Lauren walk down the aisle towards him, the look on his face was pure bliss, and confirmation that she had picked the perfect “Lauren” dress. The bouquet Lauren and her bridesmaids carried were beautifully unique. The bouquets Lauren had custom ordered from Woodland Flower Company were made of wood. They were a gorgeous and unique keepsake alternative to fresh blooms.
It was after the ceremony that the bridal party left for portraits. We arrived at the Davenport Country Club where Lauren’s dad had arranged for 10 golf carts to zoom around to the most picturesque locations on the course. We had fun driving over the hills in the golf cart and captured some fun portraits along the way.
Rory and I attended the same high school, so when the reception came about, it was fun seeing a few familiar faces from the past come up and say “hi”. The day was a fun celebration from start to finish and I am excited that Lauren and Rory both found their perfect someone. I see many happy years ahead for them.
A special thanks to all the vendors who made Lauren and Ror’s day beautiful.
