There was not a single cloud in the sky as a warm fall breeze swept through the estate grounds. Gabrielle, along with her bridesmaids and mother were busy getting ready in the kitchen of the estate home. The air was buzzing with excitement as Marc and I arrived the morning of the wedding. We have had the pleasure of knowing Gabrielle and her family for a few years now from doing family portraits, so we were greeted with open arms as we felt more like family then just vendors hired for a wedding.
When couples choose to have a first look, we enjoy quietly capturing the moment that unfolds between the bride and groom. As Gabrielle and I walked to meet Galen for the first time that day, she was excited and nervous all rolled into one. I told her that as soon as she saw Galen, all of those butterflies in her stomach would melt away; because she and I both knew that those two were the perfect match. To witness them enjoy the moment of seeing each other as a bride and a groom would make anyone’s heart skip a beat. They hugged, they kissed, and they laughed. They laughed especially hard when Galen informed Gabrielle he brought his medical insurance card just in case… because you never know when you might need it.
The whole beautiful day was filled with tears of joy and laughter. I don’t think there was a dry eye amongst the bridesmaids as Gabrielle and Galen recited vows they had written for each other. Sealed with a kiss, they were finally pronounced husband and wife! The Epiphany Farm Estate was a beautiful location for Galen and Gabrielle’s wedding day. The Palace Events staff did a phenomenal job of bringing Gabrielle and Galen’s wedding day vision to life.
I have been so excited to share our favorite moments of the day with you!
