No one had expected the temperature to climb into the high eighties on Kristin and Keegan’s fall wedding day. The day started out warm, beautiful, and sunny. I had been looking forward to this wedding for nearly two years. Kristin and Keegan are just such sweet people who share an incredible love for each other and a wonderful outlook on life. I was also excited that these two were getting married the church I grew up attending and which my parents still attend. My parents live just down the road and I found out later that my mom had a good laugh when she saw us out in front of the church photographing as she drove by that day.
When we arrived at Kristin and Keegan’s home on the morning of their late September wedding, Kristin had all her details perfectly laid out. I usually request for the brides to put them together before I get there so we are organized the morning of the wedding; however, Kristin is the type of bride who would have done this task perfectly had I not even bothered to ask. The bridesmaids’ dresses where delicately hung and steamed, and everything was progressing perfectly on time. The first time I spoke to Kristin about her wedding was in 2015 I and I could tell right that she is a natural a planner. Between finishing graduate school, planning a wedding, and settling into a new home – Kristin had to be on top of all the details and it most certainly showed. Keegan is a craftsman and it was easy to see that every wedding vision Kristin had imagined, Keegan brought it to life. From the industrial wood and cast iron rolling rack on which the girls dresses hung that morning to the beautiful wood backdrop of the sweetheart table at the reception. Everything detail was dreamed and beautifully crafted by these two.
Here are a few of our favorite moments.
